We brought our entire collection of historic flags and service flags used in Weymouth parades, as well as three of our banners (troop, drum corps, and service members honor) which were held by the scouts who quietly stood in a driving rainstorm for almost an hour, after having assembled and prepared for almost two hours. All were in full uniforms, well behaved and respectful, as we presented the colors, properly dipping the flags for the arrival of the family and mourners for Officer Davey.

Thanks to all for attending, including several parents who helped with the setup, cleanup, and provided umbrellas to keep our scouts dry before the event. This was a meaningful community service opportunity, and shows our patriotism, dedication, and respect for those who sacrifice to assure our safety.
