Countdown to Camp - Roster and Important Announcements

Last night we completed packing the watercraft for camp – rowboats, motorboats, canoes, kayaks, and the heavier gear. The remainder will be packed later this week.

Thanks to all scouts and adults who helped out. It was hectic, but the work is done. The gear will leave the clubhouse at 5:30 Saturday morning, and we’re expecting all scouts on the beach no later than 9 AM at Wellington State Park.

All scouts have been given their assignments (Beach, Boat or Island) to streamline our efforts. We’ll break for lunch mid day once all equipment has been safely dropped on the Island, and will complete setup soon afterward.

As of our final meeting, July 23rd, the following scouts are confirmed for Summer Camp. We have 51 scouts, and another 30+ adults attending this year, and the early weather forecast looks excellent!

If your name is not on this list, you have not completed the necessary preparation for camp (RSVP, medical forms, dues, orientation meetings) and we are not expecting you on Cliff Island.

If you need a ride to camp, any last minute gear needs, or have any questions, please contact Mr. Chase immediately.
